Dr. David Washa is a lifelong resident of La Crosse and a proud graduate of Aquinas High School. He continued his education at St. John’s University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Science before pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic. Graduating as a sports chiropractor in 1991, Dr. Washa returned to his hometown to begin serving the Coulee Region and opened his clinic in April of the same year at its current convenient location on Highway 16 in La Crosse, WI.

With over three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Washa has developed a practice rooted in effective, patient-centered care. His chiropractic style is primarily diversified, complemented by extensive soft-tissue work to help patients recover quickly and safely. In addition to family care and worker’s compensation cases, he has completed postgraduate diplomate training in sports injuries and rehabilitation, as well as specialized certification in spinal trauma for the treatment of automobile-related injuries and whiplash.

Whether working with athletes, accident-injury patients, or families seeking better mobility and wellness, Dr. Washa combines chiropractic care with targeted rehabilitation to help individuals return to the active lifestyles they enjoy. Outside the clinic, Dr. Washa is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. He’s also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and a longtime listener of AC/DC.

I’m excited to begin seeing my own patients starting April 2026 and look forward to helping people move and feel their best.

Outside of the clinic, you can usually find me spending time with my dogs, lifting weights, going on long walks or jogs, or out on the water boating and jet skiing. I’m passionate about an active lifestyle and bringing that same energy and enthusiasm to my work with patients.
